More than 120 companies have come together under the banner of the VSI (Virtual Socket Interface) Alliance (VSIA) to address the critical technical issues facing the system-chip industry. The systems, semiconductor, intellectual property, and EDA companies which comprise VSIA share a common vision for a robust system-chip market, and are determined to address the technical barriers to the successful integration of reusable blocks. By focusing on the design methodologies and standards, VSIA is making a critical contribution to enabling the interchange of virtual components from multiple sources.
